The Moral Value of Chomsky
"When you tell me what the Taliban can do, it's exactly the same, the moral value is zero"
I think this sums up a lot of Chomsky's views perfectly. "We may hate it, but there's nothing we can do about it". Would that have made any sense before World War II? Saying no, let's just focus on crimes and problems within the British Empire don't worry about Hitler, there's nothing we can do about him. Wrong. War has so far ended Slavery, Nazism and Communism.
Chomsky and his sheep, may do everything they can to protest the overthrow of fascist regimes in the Middle-East such as Hussein's and the Taliban, but we can do something about it.
Saying that we should leave countries to terrorise their populations, chuck acid in the faces of women who do not wear the veil and export terrorism around the globe. THAT has no moral value.
